My name is Paul Jarasius and I have a passion for growing plants especially those that produce food. I also have a keen interest in nature. My interest in plants and wildlife started at a very early age. I was always catching insects and small animals to study them with great fascination.

As soon as I was old enough to dig and plant, my grandmother showed me how to grow vegetables. I had a big vegie patch in her backyard when I was still in primary school. I used to supply our family with produce that I would carry home on my bicycle. Often riding no hands with a bag of vegetables in each hand.
