Successful people have successful habits. It's true. They also work on things they are not good at, are passionate about 'something' to the point they are willing to make sacrifices and usually are prepared to work on their weaknesses.

What’s your post-graduation dream? After focusing on studying for so many years, choosing a high salary job as well as a future with long-term prospects is probably one of the top things on your mind.

In business, we often imagine our worst-case scenarios - “What’s the worst that can happen if it goes wrong? How can I avoid the situation? How can I fix it?”

Marketing Eye is about to be inundated with clients due to a campaign we recently conducted that had amazing results. As such, we need to hire more marketing executives and given that we are now past the first quarter of the year, it is a good time to think.

What makes a marketing executive stand out from the pack?

We have the most amazing marketing internship program, and the biggest benefit for us is the privilege to see people grow in confidence and capabilities. The fact that after an internship they should be able to go out into the world and add value to any entry-based marketing position, is something that we are extremely proud of.

Today I met with a remarkable, young woman who has the world at her feet. She is intelligent, well-spoken and might I add, well-presented... not that that means too much, but what I am alluding to is that she has the full package.

Cleaning out some old boxes on the weekend, I found a few things that took me back down memory lane. In particular, something that showed me that where I am today, was where I was always going to be.

We each look at our lives and depending on how clear our memory is or in most cases, our version of events, we may sometimes realise that we were meant to be where we are, or that due to a sliding doors moment, everything changed for the better or worse.

I'm not sure how many people I have employed over the years, but I can definitely attest to working with some of the marketing industries greatest minds, and a few that perhaps chose the wrong career path.

Don't let anyone tell you how you should live your life. Remember it's YOUR life. I just can't stop thinking about my life, where I am going, and what I want to be doing. 

It's that time of year, when we all start to feel the pinch. What is it that we want to achieve by the years end and what will 2018 look like.

For many of us, we have kicked some goals in 2017, but didn't quite stick to our New Years' Resolutions. If you are constantly on the improve, and wanting to grow as an individual, and in your careers or business, you know that you have to work out what is stopping you from reaching your full potential.
