How to adapt to the changing employee
From ice addicts through to people who are unfortunately suffering mental health issues, or even those who just get itchy feet - often... employees can be tricky. Regardless of their station, it is important to see the world from their point of view, as without them no business survives. It's like the chicken and the egg.

Keep true to yourself, no matter what.
It's funny how life's lessons keep popping up, and not too dissimilar to an 'aha' moment, they remind us of what path we choose to go on.
The adventures of the past few weeks have been absolutely phenomenal. Through travel and meeting people, my vision for work and life has become so clear that I literally cannot sleep with anticipation.
My life is full, but we all know that we should leave some room for the unknown. If we don't, something may pass us by that is a once in a lifetime opportunity, or something that we will never get back.

The failsafe formula for building a great brand
Did you know there’s a formula for building a great brand in a competitive market?
Your brand is the way your customers perceive you, so having a brand that represents your business personality, values and culture is not just an optional extra in business but a core necessity if you seek longevity.
Effective branding is more than just a good logo. It’s ensuring that every touch point of communication with your customers encapsulates your core brand and key message. Great branding offers a distinct competitive advantage, as your competition can’t easily imitate or replicate your brand, or your customer’s perception of the brand.
So if you need to create a brand for a new business idea or redefine your existing business’ brand, here is my 5 step formula for getting it right:

What's going to make you be proud of what you achieved today?
I had a bit of a sleepless night last night and I am not quite sure. I don't have any real worries and life is treating me very well of late. They say if you rid yourself of negativity or people that don't fit your core values whether they are someone you are in a relationship with, friends with, or associates - life becomes a lot more authentic and clean.

The custodian of your brand
Getting ready for the artic freeze with a 12 degree chill expected tomorrow, I am gladly sitting in my warm office in Atlanta.
The team is fired up for the start of the new year. At this time of year, many people rethink where they sit in this world; life, work, health. I for one, have been doing a lot of that lately.
As I embark on the next phase of global expansion, I am left with some thoughts on the people I employ and those who would best suit our company going forward.

Arranged Marriages – who would have thought?
Today, one of my most treasured team leaders returned from his summer vacation to announce his engagement to a beautiful, young Doctor from his home village.
Over the past few years, he has travelled back home every year and his parents have organised meetings with prospective wives.
Only this year something was different. He met a young lady that he thought would be his perfect life partner.
