Is your ipad and iphone part of your marketing strategy?
I received a large parcel from a company called Cygnett. They are a global accessories company for ipads and iphones but they don't just sell accessories, they sell style.
You can go and buy the substandard iphone or ipad cover from your local telco store or at the airport, but they are just that.
Cygnett is an Australian company owned by entrepreneur Tim Swann. I've had the privilege of knowing Tim for quite some years originally through business associations and then as a good friend.
He is a strong business person with incredible insight. He works very hard and is not shy to spend his Sunday's working on his next expansion strategy.
What is remarkable about his products is the thought and design that has gone into them.
In the parcel, there were a number of white covers for the iphone and ipad which was perfect for my brand. Marketing Eye's brand is blue, white and grey, so it is perfect to have a white cover on all of my technology gadgets.
I went to a meeting yesterday afternoon and the first thing my client asked was "where did you get that cover for your ipad from?" followed by, "can you brand it?". Of course you can!
If you have a sales team out championing your brand and showing presentations on their ipads, it seems ludicrous not to take advantage of the opportunity to brand your ipad. Likewise, if you spend alot of time on your iphone, then the case should be promoting your brand.
Think about how you can brand your ipad and iphone covers to promote your company and find your local Cygnett supplier and get it done. You never know what the result may be!

06 Feb 2013Quite right, why don't more business brand their accessories?
ReplyAnything will do; pens, t-shirts, mouse pads. It just looks more professional. Anyone who sees it is more likely to remember it and will probably ask a question about it as well.
It is another way to get your brand out there and, even if you are not giving away the merchandise, you still want it to be in potential clients' view.
