Starting fresh
Out with the old, in with the new.
There is nothing to be lost and everything to be gained to have a fresh look at your small business and to use new financial years or the new year as an excuse to run your eyes through your entire business.
Whilst I cannot attest to be any great business person as every day I am still learning something new, I can put my hand up and say I do know how to market.
Like mechanics, marketing your own marketing company is last on the agenda, but my new financial year’s resolution is to put it up there at number one.
Tomorrow when I head to the office, I am going to schedule a conference call with all of our marketing managers and ask them what they think the company should be doing to market itself. Where should we be seen and heard? Is our website doing the trick? We certainly have thousands of people looking at the website, but how many are actually buying?
For Marketing Eye, we need to connect with small businesses more. With a new book about to be placed on the shelf, Marketing Eye is ready to take on the challenge to help every small business in Australia market their business and achieve their business goals.
Take some time out today if you are fiddling around online to think about how you are going to market your small business. Perhaps, look at having a once-off consultation with a marketing professional to brainstorm your business ideas.
An investment in marketing, is an investment in the future profitability of your small business.
