There's an art to PR and events - and few have refined it
As a person who has been in the industry for a very long time, Helen has a well-established reputation of having the knack to make big things happen at each event that ends in column centimetres in newspapers and magazines around the country. If you want to be in the social pages, then accept one of her invitations, and not only get to know the camera man but definitely make 'sucking up to her' the top of your list. Thus, the world of PR and events.
But it is so much more than that. That's what we all see from the outset; the glamour and excitement of a big event. Behind the scenes is a carefully curated event and public relations strategy that is not only fine tuned for maximum impact, but is organised to an inch of its dear life - if you know what I mean. Helen is the timeline Queen. There is no part of an event that is missed. Her perfectionist attitude and understanding of fashion and glamour brings much needed sizzle to the big name events that launch products, buildings, events, and of course, people.
Many celebrities in Melbourne can credit Helen Reizer for getting their profile out there. It's part of the course really, and something she herself never takes credit for because she is far too humble and just loves helping people achieve their goals.
Her charity work is tireless and the woman doesn't sleep! She will work all hours of the day, and spends much of time just making others happy. Her own disposition is one of the happiest I have ever seen. She says that that comes largely from loving what she does and also being able to help others. That's what gives her a buzz.
She is speaking at the North Queensland Entrepreneur's Conference in Townsville on November 8, 2016. Once again, she is giving back. By sharing her experiences, pearls of wisdom and how to put on a darn good event, or be front page news for a good reason - she hopes to inspire other events, PR and marketing people in North Queensland to take on board some of her lessons and make a name for themselves regardless of where they are located. She is also encouraging entrepreneurs to think about how they will launch their products or services and what impact they would like to see from investing in marketing. From her experience, she knows what goes viral and what stays dormant.
Join her by booking your ticket on www.nqecon.com.au . The lineup of speakers is incredible! 20% off if you book before 30 September by using the code TWI.
