Children of America hired Australian headquartered marketing agency newcomer, Marketing Eye, to establish the company's social media presence while at the same time inspiring children, parents and even teachers to be the #bestyoucanbe.
The marketing campaign will run for three months and will entail all facets of the social media mix along with a campaign to encourage people of all ages to inspire other's on how they are being the best they can be.
This is the largest social media campaign that Children of America has undertaken and has been a collaboration between the company and the US operations in Atlanta of Marketing Eye.
"Children of America is a forward thinking childcare facility that entire mandate is on providing the best possible childcare facilities, education and nutrition to our children," said Mellissah Smith, Creative Director of 'Be the best you can be" campaign.
"They wanted to inspire their children, parents and teachers to be the best they can be and to not be discouraged if they fall over, but instead, get back up and keep running."
The video that is featured on YouTube was filmed in Charlotte at Children of America, with children from the center as stars.
"It was the most amazing experience for us as producers of this marketing campaign to work with children that were so raw in sharing their feelings about how they can be the best they can be at home and at school.
"Giving Mom a hug and doing as they were told were the main things that each of the children felt they could do to 'be the best they can be'."
The marketing campaign is timely given that America is currently coming out of what has been a difficult few years from an economic point of view. Family is first and foremost and education is the cornerstone of ensuring that children have the right tools to go out in the world and make it a better place.
"A highlight of the day while filming in Charlotte, North Carolina, is when one of the children wanted to say something but was too shy and another child just walked up to him and gave him a hug.
"Moments like this is priceless and made making this marketing campaign by far the most rewarding we have ever done as a company."
The marketing campaign will first focus on sharing the YouTube video "bestyoucanbe" then will encourage children, parents and teachers to do the same by sharing their own experiences on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Vine. Using hashtag #bestyoucanbe, the campaign is all about sharing and inspiring others to do a bit more and be a bit more than they are today.
