How to Make 6 Million in your Startup’s First Year
After over 20 years in marketing industry, I’ve pretty much seen it all.

Things that every small business owner should think about
When in doubt, ask an expert.
Yesterday, I put in a phone call to Bond Street 180 business turnaround guru Daryl Wright and asked what he considered to be the most important things for small business owners to consider ahead of 2013. Here is what he had to say.

Culture vs People
Creating the perfect culture is impossible if everyone is not on the same page. I always look at big banking firms investment banking arms and admire how hard everyone works, they get paid well, and at the end of the day or deal, they all go for a drink together. It's a culture to admire in many ways. Maybe not the unhealthiness of long hours, stress and then washing it away with alcohol, but more so the fact that they work as a team to achieve a result and then at the end of the day, can go out and enjoy themselves.

Stress, does it go with the territory?
Does anyone else feel stressed, often?
I remember when life was easy, and the most stress I would have was getting a parking fine. That was 20 years ago!
Owning a small business can be the most rewarding job in the world, but as rewarding as it is, if you don't actively manage stress, it can sometimes over take you.
Being 100% on-game, every day is impossible. Whilst I am naturally a spirited individual, I feel overwhelmed by the whole work/life/home balance. Am I alone, or is this a common issue for small business owners. So, how do you manage it?
Yoga?
Eating well?
Exercise?
Meditating?
Having a pet in the workforce?
Being organised?
Life coach?
Therapist?
This blog is interested in sharing with its followers tips on who to destress and manage stress in every day life for a small business owner. Do you have ways to improve stress management? We want to hear all about it!

Some people will never succeed
It’s sad but true. Some people, no matter what good intentions they have, will never be successful.

Blogs, who really cares?
I read blogs every day. Some are good, some are terrible. It still amazes me though that the ones that are visited frequently, like Marketing Eye’s blog, tend to have information that is relevant to its target audience.
